Tampere Art Museum is located by the historical Pyynikintori square in an old granary which is designed by C.L. Engel and built in 1838. The museum has been opened in 1931, being the third oldest art museum in Finland. In addition to temporary exhibitions, Tampere Art Museum is also renowned for the Young Artist of the Year event and exhibition.
