Support for mental health is also provided by, for example, student welfare and other services for families with children and young people. Cooperation with other actors requires your willingness and consent.

To whom and on what terms

Youth mental health and substance abuse services are offered to young people aged 13–21 and people close to them. The services are based on mutual trust, and participation is voluntary.

The young person or someone close to them can contact the student welfare services of the school or education institution or the service counselling of the Nuppi/Nuorten Asema youth centres. You can apply for the service without a referral. The contact information can be found on the website of the wellbeing services county.
