Do the following
Make an application in Omasivari. You can fill out your application on "Applications" page.
If you are applying on other than health grounds, use the application form Exemption from supplementary service (personal reasons). Attach the documents specified in the form. The processing time is approximately one week.
If you are applying on health grounds, use the application form Exemption from supplementary service (health reasons). Attach a B medical statement to your application. The processing time is approximately two weeks.
To whom and on what terms
Exemption for other than health reasons applies only to the period specified in the decision. When the exemption expires, you will receive a new notice to attend supplementary service.
Exemption on health grounds applies to peacetime service.
