Background information

Youth centres offer both instructor-led activities and activities organised by young people themselves. Many other municipal facilities, including libraries, also have activities and services targeted especially at young people.

At municipal youth centres in youth clubs, young people can spend pass time and engage in activities under guidance. The facilities are intended especially for secondary school pupils and older. Interaction with young people takes place also in multipurpose premises, sports and culture services and online services.
