Workplace Swedish improves the capacity of your company's personnel with a foreign background to cope with their everyday work tasks in Swedish. Do the following
- Contact your local ELY Centre or TE Office.
- Prepare a proposal for joint purchase training. Primarily use the electronic form. If it is not possible for you to submit the electronic form, fill in the printable form "Employer's proposal for joint procurement training (TEM607)" and send the form to the local ELY Centre or TE Office.
- The person processing your proposal will assess your training needs and draw up a preliminary training plan.
To whom and on what terms
As a rule, the minimum duration of a Workplace Swedish Training is 70 lessons (45 min per lesson). However, the minimum duration can be adjusted to meet the specific needs of the company. The training is divided in parts according to the needs of the company, taking into account the objectives and duration of the training. A typical schedule is between two and four lessons once or twice a week.
The service is discretionary and subject to a fee. The employer and the employment and economic development administration provide funding for the Workplace Swedish Training together. The employer's contribution depends on the size of the company and its turnover or balance sheet. The company's contribution is 30% to 50% of the total price in Targeted Training, 30% in Recruitment Training, and 20% in Change Training.
