You can connect your digital service to the Suomi.fi Data Exchange Layer by applying for a access license from the Digital and Population Data Services Agency. You can register for access to the API Catalogue when you begin integrating with the Suomi.fi Data Exchange Layer.

To whom and on what terms

In order to use the Suomi.fi Data Exchange Layer service, organisations need to integrate with it and accept the terms and conditions.

The organisation must implement the interfaces between its own digital services and the Suomi.fi Data Exchange Layer. The organisation’s interfaces may require changes to ensure compatibility. The organisation must have access to a Security Server through which the connection is executed – if necessary, this component may be set up during implementation. The organisation also needs a server certificate from the Digital and Population Data Services Agency.
