Short-term care is arranged for persons with disabilities who need round-the-clock care due to an illness or disability. Short-term care is usually provided in a housing unit (or in family care, which has its own service description). Short-term care for a child with a disability can also be arranged at the child’s home.
Short-term care includes round-the-clock treatment and care.
