The Helsinki University Hospital’s Clinic for Oral and Maxillofacial Diseases is in charge of specialist medical care for oral and maxillofacial surgery and dentistry in the Uusimaa region.

The functions are located in the Eye and Ear Hospital, Meilahti Hospital and Surgical Hospital. In addition, special dental care for children is provided at New Children's Hospital. The 24-hour emergency services for specialist medical care for oral and maxillofacial surgery and night-time emergency care in primary oral health care are located at the Emergency Department of Töölö Hospital.

Examinations and treatments for specialist medical care for oral and maxillofacial diseases always require a referral.
