Tikkurila Areena is a versatile event venue for ice sports: it is used for the games of Kiekko-Vantaa ice hockey club, among others. In the summer, the arena can be used e.g. for inline hockey.

Accessibility information

The facility does not have an accessible dressing room. The men's/women's dressing rooms must be used instead. The door of the dressing room is heavy or otherwise hard to open and the doorway has a high threshold.
The dressing room features a dressing bench and sufficient room for an assistant. Good illumination and clear contrasts facilitate spatial perception. There are no lockers in the dressing room.
The shower room is connected to the men's/women's dressing room. The door of the shower room opens easily manually.
The facility does not have a sauna.

The sports facility features a spectators' seating area which has stairs. The seating area has outlets for using and charging electrical aid equipment.
The seating area features 4 accessible spots suitable for a wheelchair, which are located on a platform in the middle of the seating area (room for 4 wheelchairs to be placed side by side). The accessible spots provide an unobstructed view of the event.
There is sufficient room by the accessible spots for wheelchairs to pass each other.
The accessible section of the seating area can be accessed via an over 6 m long .
