The piece was donated to the City of Helsinki by the sculptor Björn Weckström (b. 1935), and erected on Iso Roobertinkatu in 1995. According to Weckström himself, the work depicts the easygoing and humorous attitude to life of the people of Helsinki. However, its abstractness allows viewers to form their own interpretations.
The work belongs to the collections of the Helsinki Art Museum.
