The subject matter and palette of Sheltering Sky were chosen with the day-care centre operating in the building in mind. The work consists of a painted concrete panel, with the motif repeated in relief inside the medallion in its centre. The work is also known as Touch.
The work doesn't belong to the collections of the Helsinki Art Museum.
