School Health Care
- Public service
In school health care, the growth and development of the pupil is followed in cooperation with the parents, teachers and Pupil Welfare staff. Every school has a nurse and a doctor.
- The school nurse conducts individual health check-ups on pupils annually.
- An extensive health check-up is conducted by the school nurse and the doctor in the first, fifth and eighth grades. The pupils’ parents (or other guardians) are invited to attend. The extensive check-up examines the well-being of the pupil and the whole family as well as their needs for support.
