To whom and on what terms

Supported housing apartments are intended for over 18-year-olds single people, both male and female, and couples without a home, who need support in regard to their housing and life management skills.

Background information

If a person is homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, they may receive guidance and counselling. In service counselling, counsellors assess the client’s situation in its entirety, help solve their housing issue and, if necessary, refer them to suitable health care and social welfare services.

The counsellors explain what services are available, how they can be applied for, and what preconditions there are for accessing them. If necessary, they can provide advice on how to apply for and coordinate different types of support. The counsellors also provide guidance on how to access the homelessness services provided by different organisations.
