Rehabilitating work activities are meant for the long-term unemployed.
Background information
Rehabilitative work activities are available to those who have been absent from the labour market for a long time due to unemployment or some other reason. The purpose of the activities is to improve the participant’s:
- employment and training opportunities
- ability to work and function
- everyday life management.
Those participating in the activities are not in an employment or public service relationship with the organiser of the activities. The participants are paid a daily compensation for their work activities. The authorities will draw up an activation plan with the participant, the implementation of which will be monitored.
