The Registered Exporter system (the REX system) is used to register exporters that are entitled to make out a statement on origin. In the REX system, registered exporters can make out statements on origin providing entitlement to GSP preferential tariff treatment. Statements can be made out by exporters of the GSP beneficiary countries and the ones located in the customs territory of the Union.

Processing time
Authorisation applications are processed without delay after they are approved for processing. The application can be approved for processing when it contains all the details needed to make a decision, i.e. the application is fully completed and accompanied with the necessary attachments.
