A project permit must be applied for the construction of a high-voltage power cord from the Energy Authority. The project permit is required for cords, interconnectors and connecting wires in the mains or high-voltage distribution network with a rated voltage of 110 kV or more.

Do the following
Submit the signed project permit application to the Energy Authority primarily by e-mail to the Registry of the Energy Authority. You can also deliver the form by mail or through the Permits and Supervision Service.
The application for a project permit shall state:
- information on the developer;
- the main technical data and the management master plan map;
- cost estimate and construction schedule;
- a report on the need for management to secure the transmission of electricity;
- a report on the environmental impact of management and its suitability for land use in the area;
- a statement from the system operator to whose power supply the high voltage line is intended to be connected;
- opinion of the distribution system operator of the area of responsibility;
- other information necessary for the processing of the permit.
The Energy Authority must be contacted in case of a need for a permit for the refurbishment of high-voltage power cords. Submit the request for a statement to the Energy Authority primarily by e-mail.
To whom and on what terms
A prerequisite for granting a project permit for a power cord is that the construction of a power cord is necessary to secure the transfer of electricity.
A project permit may be granted under certain conditions without a means-test in the case of a connecting line or a high-voltage power supply line of the distribution system operator.
Deadline
The project permit must be obtained before the power cord is built.
Period of validity
Five (5) years from the final date of the decision. The management presented in the project permit must be completed within this period.
