HUS Patient Hotel is located in Scandic Meilahti Hotel, completed at Tukholmankatu 2 in spring 2016.

The patient hotel service is intended especially for patients treated in Meilahti and other nearby hospitals. Relatives can stay at the hotel at their own cost. There is also one free donation room for families with children. Reservations for hotel rooms are made by the unit treating the patient.

The services of the patient hotel are used before or after a planned treatment or procedure, during or in connection with serial treatments when the patient does not need to stay overnight on the inpatient ward, but accommodation near the hospital is justified from the point of view of treatment.

Guests staying at the patient hotel must be in a condition to be discharged, as the patient hotel does not provide any medical services. At the patient hotel, the patient is meant to be able to cope independently or with the support of an escort/family member/loved one.
