Occupational therapy for customers of informal care support

  • Service
  • Helsinki
  • Public service

We offer support for acting as an informal caregiver. Informal care changes the situation in life and everyday life. The everyday life of both the informal caregiver and care receiver can become restricted to their home and opportunities to participate in meaningful activities can be limited.

We advise informal caregivers, for example on how to guide their loved one in eating, dressing and taking care of personal hygiene and how to help with mobility. We can help you plan a weekly schedule that supports functional ability and provide you with information on different aids and home alterations.

Together, we will plan a rehabilitation period matching your needs. Usually, an occupational therapy period lasts 1 to 5 visits.

If you are already our customer, you can send us a message via Maisa.
