Do the following

Submit a notification using the online form Notification of posting workers. You will receive a confirmation email immediately after the notification has been submitted to the email address you provided. You can find more information on how to submit the notification on the instructions for filling in the form.

Submit a supplementary notification using the same form immediately if the information provided changes significantly. The supplementary notification is a prerequisite for continuing work. The change is essential when, for example, the representative, the place of work, the contracting partner or the number of workers changes.

In the case of construction work, you must send the advance notification and the supplementary notification to the developer and the main contractor as well.

If you want to extend the duration of the posting to a maximum of 18 months for a justified reason, submit a new notification before the 12-month period of work of the worker posted in Finland is over. In such cases, use the online form for extending the posting of workers.

To whom and on what terms

The notification can be made as soon as the agreement on posting a worker has been concluded, but no later than before the work referred to in the agreement begins.

The notification does not need to be made when workers are posted for a maximum of five days within the same company and for work that is not in the construction sector. In the case of the construction sector, the notification must always be made.

At the justified request of company posting workers, the 12-month time limit for work can be extended to a maximum of 18 months. A separate notification must be submitted on the extension of the duration of the posting.

Deadline

The company posting workers must submit a notification before starting the work, and no later than on the same day that the work referred to in the agreement begins. The notification does not need to be made if workers are posted for a maximum of five days within the same company and for work that is not in the construction sector.
