At the clinic we safeguard your health, that of your unborn child and entire family. We also support you in preparing for the changes that childbirth will bring. You will see a public health nurse and a doctor during the pregnancy and, if you wish, participate in ultrasound examinations and prenatal screening. Spouses are welcome to appointments. Prenatal acknowledgment of paternity can also be done.
During your first pregnancy, you may participate in family training. We will attempt to make a house call after the child is born.For all pregnancy-related matters, call the clinics’ number for booking and advice (02) 266 2223 on:• Mon–Thu 8–15 (note: the first Wed of the month only 8–12.30)• Fri 8–13.30The clinics are open on weekdays. Evening appointments may also be booked. The services are free of charge and intended for Turku families expecting a baby.
