Arrival and exit safety and security data declarations and temporary storage declarations

The operator must electronically submit safety and security data to Customs for all goods imported into or exported from the European Union territory. The safety and security data are details about the traders, goods, transports and routes.

Temporary storage declarations must be submitted for undeclared goods arriving in Finland from the EU.

Before using the Customs e-services, please read their instructions, as well as instructions for Suomi.fi e-Identification, on the Customs website https://tulli.fi/en/about-e-services

You can submit temporary storage declarations in the Customs Clearance Service.

In the Arrival and Exit Declaration Service, you can submit safety and security data declarations for goods leaving the EU or goods arriving from outside the EU, by means other than air traffic.

The Commission's ICS2 system allows you to submit safety and security data declarations on shipments arriving in Finland directly from outside the EU.
