The emergency services will assess the patient’s situation and refer them to the necessary examinations and treatments.
The treatment is primarily based on outpatient services and voluntary measures. In certain situations specified by law, a patient can be committed to involuntary treatment. These include situations where the alternative is the significant exacerbation of a psychotic episode or a serious risk to the health or safety of the patient or another person.
