Do the following

Export notifications must be made at least 35 days before the first intended export in each calendar year. Export notifications are made in the ePIC information system maintained by ECHA.

Deadline

The export notification must be made no later than 35 days before the first export of the year. One export notification concerns one chemical or product and one importing country.

Processing time

The export can take place when the export notification’s reference identification number is active in the ePIC system. The reference identification number is activated on the first notified export date of the year, unless there are barriers to export (e.g. import ban declared by the importing country or import consent not yet obtained).

Period of validity

As a rule, the export notification is valid until the end of the calendar year. The export notification may expire sooner if the consent of the importing country expires in the middle of the year.
