Outside office hours and on weekends, the nearest hospital with a 24-hour A&E department is Porvoo central hospital.

Nikkilä emergency department provides first aid and other urgent health care on weekdays. The service hours are Monday–Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
At other times, please contact Porvoo hospital for emergency health care services.

A fee is charged for the service.
Emergency services provide acute patient care. The need for treatment may be caused by a sudden illness or injury, deterioration of a long-term illness or functional capacity. The emergency services treat all patients in need of urgent help, regardless of their place of residence.
A nurse or a physician assesses the need for care and the urgency. In non-urgent matters, please to go a health centre during normal business hours.
Emergency services are available 24/7. 24/7 emergency services are provided in large health centres and hospitals.
