Doctor's appointment at a health station
- Public service
When you contact your health station to make a doctor’s appointment, a nurse will first assess your treatment needs. The nurse will then book a doctor’s appointment for you, if needed.
At the doctor’s appointment, a doctor will assess your symptoms and your general state of health, and if necessary, create a care plan or make a referral to another medical professional for further examination. The doctor will also support you in improving your health by discussing risk factors associated with different illnesses.
Doctors in public health stations also provide remote appointments.
You can contact your health station by carrying out a symptoms assessment in the Omaolo service, via Maisa or by phone.
