Background information

The dental and oral health care of basic education pupils is included in school health care. During basic education, pupils are provided with oral and dental health examinations at least three times and treatment whenever necessary. If a pupil requires numerous or frequent examinations or treatments, their care is implemented according to their individual needs.

Pupils can reserve a time with a school health care dentist by following the instructions issued by their school or by contacting the appointment booking service of their local oral health care service.
