Checking authorisations through e-Authorizations, and the Authorisation register

  • Service
  • Nationwide
  • Public service

With e-Authorizations, an organisation can verify a person’s or company’s legal right to use the service on behalf of another person or company. The service checks authorisations directly against existing registers (for example, the Population Information System and Trade Register) and automatically forwards the information to the organisation’s e-service. In addition, a national authorisation register will be built in the service. An organisation can join the national authorisation register so that a citizen or a company representative will be able to create mandates in the organisation’s e-service. For example, a bank could join the authorisation register so that a citizen can authorise another person to perform transactions on their behalf at the bank in question. e-Authorizations serves both public and private sector customers.

Do the following

For more information about e-Authorizations, visit the website. Start using the service after making the necessary preparations.

To whom and on what terms

In order to use the service, you need to activate it and accept the terms of use. The organisation’s e-service must use a strong identification service. An organisation that uses the service must provide a connection via an interface to the Data Exchange Layer and add role and authorisation queries to the functionality of its own service. In addition, the organisation must make necessary user interface and application changes to its e-service system. The organisation will need a VTJ data access authorisation and the Digital and Population Data Services Agency's server certificate if the service is used via the Data Exchange Layer.
