Employment affairs

Working is regulated by law, collective bargaining agreements and agreements made at workplaces. For example, the law lays down provisions on working hours and occupational safety and health at a general level. Collective bargaining agreements contain more specific regulations. The employer is responsible for providing healthy and safe working conditions. The area of occupational safety and health at the Regional State Administrative Agency provides guidance and is responsible for the supervision of occupational safety and health.
