eServices and forms

Electronic services – e-services – refer to forms that are filled out and submitted electronically. Some of these involve simple web forms, while others are structured services that proceed in phases. Some e-services require user authentication generally using a certification card or online banking codes (VETUMA service).

Printable forms are usually available in Word, Excel, PDF or RTF form. These forms are filled out online by the client, then printed and sent to the receiving organisation by post.

E-services and web forms

The Suomi.fi portal plays a key role in promoting e-services. It is a gateway offering access to information on government services and provides links to the major e-services and web forms. The services and forms the client sees on the portal are generated automatically from data which the participating organisations enter on the Lomake.fi platform. Lomake.fi is the joint e-service platform serving all online public services.
