Safety and health at work
Information related to occupational health and safety is produced by many authorities, industry organisations, workplaces and actors in the health care sector.
The regulations may relate either to an employee’s personal state of health or a certain professional group. For example, an employee who is pregnant and exposed to danger factors may apply for earlier than normal maternity leave. More stringent health checks than usual are carried out for occupations where employees have to do their job without causing hazardous situations.
