Helplines

In the event of a crisis or a serious problem, you can get help and support by calling an emergency helpline. In addition to public authorities, there are dozens of associations with their own helplines in Finland.

You can contact Victim Support Finland either by phone or by sending an electronic request for someone to contact you. ‘Tukinainen’ is a crisis centre that provides support for women who have been sexually assaulted or abused. The Evangelical-Lutheran Church of Finland runs its own Helpline and other phone and online services. The Poison Information Centre provides instructions for first aid in poisoning accidents. Peluuri, the gambling helpline in Finland, provides support for problem gamblers.
