Plant production

In Finland, 2 million hectares of arable land are used for plant production, half of it for grain cultivation. The Plant Protection Service's role is to prevent the spread of plant pests. The inspections are performed by inspectors from Evira, and the Employment and Economic Development Centres, and the Finnish Customs.
