Supervision of legality

The actions and documents of the authorities are mainly public, and their activities are based on law. The Government's Chancellor of Justice and the Parliamentary Ombudsman supervise the President, the Government and the Courts. They also supervise the legality of central and local government actions. Both of them also monitor civil and human rights to ensure they are implemented. Parliament supervises the activities of the Government and authorities subordinate to it.
