Data protection supervision
It is always worth turning to the register holder first if there are problems or questions about the processing of your own personal data. If information can be found in places were it should not be found, the origin of the data should be clarified. If the information requested is not provided or changes demanded are not made, the issue can be passed on to the Data Protection Ombudsman for investigation.
The Data Protection Ombudsman's office helps and advises on issues concerning personal data. The Finnish Data Protection Board can grant the register holder special permits or give orders with regard to personal data processing.
