Financing
The state provides support in the form of interest subsidies for basic improvements to rented, right-of-occupancy and housing association accommodation. Renovation work undertaken privately may be offset against tax in the form of a domestic help credit. Financial assistance may be available for repairs that remove health hazards in the home or improve its energy efficiency.
