Baptising a child
When a child is baptised he or she becomes a member of the Church and the congregation. A child is baptised within a period of two months after being born, by which time the national population information system must be informed of the child’s name and mother tongue. The ceremony can be held on church premises or at home, or anywhere else the priest and the parents agree on.
