Temporary help with child care

The Mannerheim League for Child Welfare (MLL) and the Family Federation of Finland offer help when there is a temporary or short-term need for childcare, for example in situations where a family member becomes ill, or the parents are away on business or perhaps need a short rest.

The Family Federation’s childcare service covers the capital area, while MLL operates around the country. Both organisations charge for their services. Nurses have the necessary training, and many also have a degree in social services and health care. Childcare is a tax deductible service upon certain terms and conditions.
