Ageing
The elderly often want to live in their own homes, but need help for different daily tasks. Local authorities provide a wide selection of services, so that the elderly can manage at home. Society provides housing support for the elderly and help with acquiring services.
In addition to local authorities, private service providers supply a variety of home help services. In some local authorities, support may be available for acquiring private services, for example, in the form of service vouchers. The household deduction that is applied to taxation reduces the costs of household work for people acquiring services.
