Television and radio

It is the Finnish Broadcasting Company’s statutory duty to provide a diversity of radio and TV programmes for everyone in Finland. Commercial radio and television companies require a permit granted by the Government.

A fee is payable for watching TV broadcasts, for example, via digital television, a satellite receiver, mobile television or computer. The Finnish Broadcasting Company's income comes from television fees paid by TV viewers.
