Practice Form

Using this practice form, you can try out how to use an online public service. This form is similar to a simple public administration online form. The purpose here is to practice filling in different types of form fields and submitting a form.The form fields and menus are made up. The information you fill in will not be saved. Practicing here is safe.

You can practice filling in the form either independently or using these pre-designed exercises.

Text field

A text field is for entering a short text no longer than one line. The field size may be limited, but how long the field looks does not tell you how many characters will fit into it.

Drop-down menu

A drop-down menu allows only one choice. Open the menu by clicking on it. Click on your choice. If you are using the keyboard, scroll through the options with the arrow keys. Make your selection by pressing Enter.

Radio button

Radio buttons only allow one choice. Click on your choice. If you are using the keyboard, scroll through the options with the arrow keys or the Tab key, depending on the browser. Make your selection by pressing Space.






Multiple choise list

In a multiple choice list, you can select one or more choices. Hold down the Ctrl key and click on your choices. If you are using the keyboard, scroll through the options with the arrow keys. In some brows-ers, you can make your choices by holding down the Ctrl key and pressing Space.

To remove a choice, repeat the same procedure.

Open text field

A text box is for entering a text longer than one line. However, how large the box looks does not tell you how many characters will fit into it.

Check boxes

With check boxes, you can select one or more choices. Click on your choice; click again to remove. If you are using the keyboard, scroll through the options with the Tab key and press Space to make your choice.

Buttons

Click on the Submit button to submit the form. Click on the Clear button to empty all fields in the form.
