How to find your IBAN number and BIC code on your online banking website

This page provides basic information on how to find your IBAN number and BIC code on the internet banking sites for the most commonly used banks in Finland: Aktia, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Osuuspankki, Paikallisosuuspankit, S-Pankki, Sampopankki, Tapiola-Pankki and Ålandsbanken.

If you have any questions about how to use IBAN numbers or BIC codes, contact a branch of the bank you use.

Aktia

  • Log in to internet banking using your customer IDs
  • Under the Account Information tab you will see the bank accounts you use. Click on the one you want.
  • Under the Transactions and Account Details tab you will find your bank account number in IBAN format and your bank’s BIC code.

Handelsbanken

  • Log in to internet banking using your customer IDs
  • Under the Account Information tab you will see the bank accounts you use. Click on the one you want.
  • Under the Transactions and Account Details tab you will find your bank account number in IBAN format and your bank’s BIC code

Nordea

  • Log in to internet banking using your customer IDs.
  • On the Daily Transactions page you will see the bank accounts you use. On this page you will see your bank account number in IBAN format. Click on the bank account number you want.
  • On the Transactions and Account Details page select the Account Details tab. Under this tab you will see the basic details relating to your account. They include the account number in IBAN format and the BIC code.

Osuuspankki

  • Log in to internet banking using your customer IDs
  • Go to the Accounts and Payments tab. Select the bank account you want under Your Accounts.
  • Select the Account Details tab. There you will see your bank account number in IBAN format and the BIC code.

Paikallisosuuspankit

  • Log in to internet banking using your customer IDs
  • Under the Account Information tab you will see the bank accounts you use. Click on the one you want.
  • Under the Transactions and Account Details tab you will find your bank account number in IBAN format and your bank’s BIC code.

S-Pankki

  • Log in to internet banking using your customer IDs
  • On the homepage you will see a list of the accounts you use. Select the one you want by clicking on the account name.
  • Under the Transactions tab you will find your bank account number in IBAN format and your bank’s BIC / SWIFT code.

Sampopankki

  • You will  find the BIC code from the starting page of Sampopankki’s website.
  • Log in to internet banking using your customer IDs
  • On the homepage you will see a list of the accounts you use. Select the one you want.
  • This will take you to the Transactions page, where you will see your account transactions. Select the Details tab.
  • Under the Details tab you will find your account number in IBAN format.
  • You will find the BIC code and IBAN-number on the paper statement that is sent to your address. If you have ordered a statement online you will find it in the website’s archives. The BIC code is in the upper right corner of the statement.

Tapiola-Pankki

  • Log in to internet banking using your customer IDs
  • Go to the Bank tab
  • Select the Accounts and Cards tab. Select the bank account you want from the list.
  • This will take you to a page giving details of transactions for the account you selected. There you will see your account number in IBAN format and the BIC/SWIFT code.

Ålandsbanken

  • Log in to internet banking using your customer IDs
  • On the homepage you will see a list of the accounts you use. Select the one you want.
  • Under the Transactions tab you will find your bank account number in IBAN format and your bank’s BIC/SWIFT code.
