Logging in with bank identifiers
Some e-services accept a login with your online bank identifiers. You can get these by concluding a contract with your bank.
At the login stage, you are given a list of available banks. Select the bank whose identifiers you use. Follow the instructions on identification given by the online service of the bank. If you cannot remember your online bank identifiers or need other assistance, contact your bank.
When using the bank identifiers the codes must be personal. Identifier codes can not be linked, for example a company or association activities.
If you share a bank account and also the bank identifier codes with your wife or husband, only one of the spouses is entitled to sign in - depending on whose name has been recorded in the bank files as the main user of the bank connection on the Web. If this is so, signing in with your bank identifiers is permitted only for you yourself, so you cannot sign in on behalf of your spouse (or vice versa). However, with some shared bank accounts, both spouses can make their corrections online if they have agreed with the bank that each spouse has separate identifier codes for the shared bank account.
When you use bank identifiers for logging in, make sure that no one else has access to your ID, your password or your key code list. Remember to log off from the service when you have finished. If you use the service on a public terminal, remember to close all browser windows after logging off.
Keep in mind that banks never use e-mail or phone to inquire about their clients’ banking codes or credit card numbers.
When communicating to your bank online, always use the mail service in the online banking service. Never send sensitive personal or banking information over regular e-mail. If you lose your banking codes, contact your bank immediately.
